Making the Difference in a Child’s Life

It has been stated time and time again that you should make sure you tell those who are important in your life thank you while you have the chance.  My mom died of cancer in 2010.  This has caused me to realize what is important in life and cherish it.  It also caused me to become even more thankful for what for everyone who has played a role in my life allowing me to pursue my talents and gifts to live my destiny.  Today children need the help of adults to help them along their journey in life.  One of great thank you anyone can receive is seeing that they have helped a child gain the confidence to shine their light for the world to see.  Be the one to make that difference volunteer to mentor a child.
